Website content and design

There are some basic principles that you should follow to get the best out of your website:
  • Define your business and product offering in simple, compelling terms
  • Identify your customers and design the site around their needs
  • Break up your text with images, headings and bullets to make it easy to read
  • Use direct language and plain English
  • Insert good meta wording to improve your search ratings
  • Know what you want your visitors to do on each page and give them properly designed calls-to-action to click
  • Use Web 2.0 techniques to connect to your customers and improve your search ratings

Creating content and structure
I have helped create a number of websites and can help you optimise your content and structure. I'm not a technical or graphic web designer, so you will need someone else for this aspect, or else use a simple front end like Weebly, on which this site is created.
